Since his teen years working in his family’s sign shop, Michael has had an appreciation and fondness for the art and craft of sign-making. An opportunity to learn neon design from landmark neon artist Lili Lakich resulted in Michael’s creation of his first neon art piece. He combined newly-learned techniques with his own artistic sensibilities and legacy knowledge to create a one-of-a-kind artwork. Michael performed all aspects of design and production except for tube bending and filling.
